A wonderful jam from the end of the Max Fish days days, it’s dated 10/02, but I want to think it was done sometime before that.  As you may have noticed, I often scan things well after they were done because I am a fat, lazy slob — hell, the only reason you’re seeing it today is because it’s been sitting on my server for eight years and the only real effort I need to put into updating the site is typing this up.

Anywho, The Artist is one of the funnier jams from that era and includes some great art from Dave McKenna, Joe Meyer and a great anti-dong gag by Evan Forsch.

The Artist

Best I can tell these were from the Fall of 2004 and are a pretty good portrait of the regulars of that era. I still don’t believe Evan Forsch owned a mirror at the time, hence the reason his doesn’t look anything like him. Oddly, Kevin Colden’s mirror must have been a window into the future, because while it was wildly inaccurate for the time, that’s pretty much exactly what he looks like now.
